A doctor, Dr. David Oludhe, has received the beating of his life from bouncers at a nightclub where he consumed an expensive cognac and refused to pay for the drink.
In the incident that reportedly occurred last weekend, the Kenyan doctor was said to have walked into Club Alleyways in Kisumu, a Kenyan port city on Lake Victoria, ordered Martell Vsop worth 10,000 Kenyan shillings, and after drinking, refused to pay.
The club management was said to have told its bouncers to escort Dr. Oludhe out with a “slight warning”.
Images of the debtor which circulated on social media after the incident showed his disfigured face.
A Twitter user @_fels1 shared details of the incident on the microblogging platform on Friday.
