A lady whose dead body was found dumped near a bridge in Jos, Plateau State has been finally identified.
The lady identified as Ruth Yakadi was a 400-level student of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) until her demise, NewsTip learnt.
Recall that Yakadi’s remains were found on Sunday dumped at a car wash after Harris Filling Station, near bridge in the Farin Gada area of Jos North Local Government Area of the state.
It was learnt that her pants hung loosely around her dusty legs at the time of discovery, raising suspicion that she could have been raped before being killed.
The discovery created tension in the community and sparked a protest by students and other residents.
While the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Plateau State, DSP Alfred Alabo has confirmed the incident, he declined to give further details.
